WEDDING PREPARATION
I have been training with Matt for five months now and
am very pleased with my results so far. I initially wanted to work with
a personal trainer for general health improvement, but, also to get in
shape for my upcoming wedding. Matt has increased my overall strength
and muscle tone. His workouts have given me great muscle definition in
my arms. I have also noticed tighten abs and stronger legs. There is no
bulkiness-just lean muscle.
I have
enjoyed my twice weekly sessions with Matt. He is knowledgeable,
friendly, dependable and patient. He senses the appropriate exercise
level of his clients and is committed to helping them reach their
fitness goals.
Thanks to
Matt I know I’ll be a super fit bride come November. I highly recommend
him as a personal trainer.

I walk into

Matt truly
understands the intricacies and nuances of personal training. I began
working with Matt at a low point in my life. I was struggling
both physically and emotionally. He listened to my needs and
physical goals and as the training progressed, not only did my body
change, but I began to feel mentally stronger. A large part of my
success is due to Matan’s awareness of how I was feeling.
During the

I have been
training with Matan for the past year, whenever my schedule
permits. He is the only reason I enjoy working out, since he
makes our sessions different and interesting each time. In
addition, he is knowledgeable about both diet and exercise and he
understands people's individual abilities and limitations. This
allows him to tailor his workouts to each
individual, implementing creative and effective exercises each
time. To top that off, his energy and enthusiastic personality
make each session feel shorter than it is, even when you're exerting

When I
signed up for personal training, my
initial goal was to just learn what to do for a workout. That was
before I found out how different it could be
to work with a trainer. I found myself working out better and harder
than I could - or would - on my own. The results were faster and more
remarkable than I ever expected.
It was truly
a team effort. I showed up at the gym three times a week, cut back on
carbs late in the day, and did all the exercises Matt gave me. Matt
varied my workouts so as to challenge my muscles in different ways,
constantly adjusted amount of weight/reps based on my progress, started
me on a cardio regime in addition to our workouts, and actually made
the workouts enjoyable with his sense of humor and ability to create a
good rapport. He didn’t make me feel like a wimp when, in the beginning
I could barley do a pushup, and he was proud when I achieved our goal
of three sets of 12. He listened patiently when I repeatedly reminded
him that I didn’t want to bulk up and look “masculine” (knowing all
along that I’d be losing fat while gaining “feminine” muscle tone and
definition.)
Matt’s
approach to exercise is no-nonsense and serious, yet his personality
immediately puts you at ease and infuses the workouts with smiles and
even laughter. For someone like me, who feels that exercise is a
necessary evil, being able to make the “torture” fun
was a key factor in sticking with it.
The bottom
line is that Matt delivers results. I couldn’t have done it without him.

SELF-DEFENSE
Matt has
been my personal trainer for about two years now. Not only have I
been happier with my body and weight, I have also learned to protect
myself and gained a great friend in the process. I was
approaching thirty and wanted to do something for myself.
However, looking back my fate would tell you otherwise. A man had
tried to attack me in my neighborhood, I'm not sure what he
wanted. If it had been my wallet it would have been his. In
any event, what I have learned from Matt was enough to get him away
before I could find out. Within a few months of self-defense
training, I gained more confidence than I ever had before. I knew
exactly waht to do that night and he was gone! Matt, I'm indebted
